Privacy Policy — Block Puzzle: Classic

Last updated: August 26, 2026

Block Puzzle: Classic ("the App") is developed by Lahiru Dananjaya ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the App collects and how it's used.

Playing without an account

You can play the App fully offline as a guest, with no sign-in. In guest mode, the App does not collect your name, email, or any personal information. Your gameplay, score, and settings stay on your device and are deleted if you uninstall the App.

Optional sign-in and account data

The App offers an optional sign-in with Google or Facebook so you can keep your progress, coin balance, and friends across devices. If you choose to sign in, we collect and store the following in a private Firestore database tied to your account:

  • Name — your display name from your Google or Facebook profile
  • Email address — from your Google or Facebook profile
  • User ID — an internal account identifier, plus a shareable friend code
  • App activity — your high score, coin balance, and friends list

If you use the friends feature, your friend code and display name become visible to players you connect with. If you sign in with Facebook, the App can look up which of your Facebook friends have also signed into the App with Facebook (via Facebook's Graph API) — we never receive or store any information about people who haven't signed into the App themselves. The Facebook SDK's own background telemetry (auto-init, app-event logging, advertiser ID collection) is disabled.

Signing in is entirely optional and only used to enable cross-device sync and the friends feature — the App is fully playable as a guest without any of this.

Purchases

The App offers optional coin packs, purchased through Google Play Billing. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play — we never receive or store your payment details or purchase/transaction records. The App only stores the resulting coin balance in your account.

Advertising

The App shows optional rewarded video ads (to earn coins or continue play after a game over) using Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google's AdMob SDK may collect and process:

  • The advertising identifier (a resettable, non-permanent device ID)
  • Device and app information, and ad interaction data (e.g. impressions, clicks)

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. You can review how Google handles this data, and manage your ad personalization settings, at policies.google.com/privacy and adssettings.google.com.

Ads are entirely optional — the App is fully playable, including offline, without ever watching an ad.

Data security & account deletion

Account data is encrypted in transit between the App and our servers (Firebase/Firestore and AdMob both use TLS).

To request deletion of your account and data: email voltichq@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account (the one you signed in with via Google or Facebook), with the subject "Delete my account". We'll delete your account record, including your name, email, user ID, friend code, high score, coin balance, and friends list, within 30 days. We don't retain a backup copy after deletion. This doesn't affect data Google's AdMob SDK has already processed on its own systems (see the Advertising section above) — that's controlled separately through Google's own settings.

Children

The App is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
